Uskotko? is a campaign website built on WordPress. Drawings by famous cartoonist Pertti Jarla. I created a customized WordPress child theme based on the style of the comics. Source code is on GitHub.
One of my current WordPress development projects in Sange is called Tulostinkartta in Finnish. It is a Finnish 3D printer map provided as a free service by the filament manufacturing company Suomen 3D-tulostustekniikka. Visit GitHub or read my blog post for more information about the project.
Wärkkäri is a customized WooCommerce shop.
Another example of custom WordPress plugin development. Framework for a WooCommerce plugin to scrape dropshipping stock status data from the web pages of dropshipping providers that have no proper API for stock status. It should be tweaked for the needs of each WooCommerce site using it. It is probably not possible to create a ’generic’ version. Source code is on GitHub.
A Finnish language web scraping/natural language processing/data visualization project. Source code is naturally available on GitHub.
Mainoskupla was a WordPress site for a youth advertising contest. The contestants were able to submit their own advertisements online. ’Voting’ was based on number of social media shares. There was a little WordPress custom plugin which collected sharing statistics from different social media APIs.
I worked as the open source coordinator of the Finnish localization of FLOSS Manuals around 2009-2014. This included tasks such as technical writing, translation, community management, public relations and web mastering. Old Finnish site on Archive.org, current versions of Finnish manuals.
